Each Spring, students are administered the English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics exams in grades 6-8 and the Science exam in grade 8. These exams are used to measure how well students perform on New York's Next Generation Learming Standards.

NYC's Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) is the nation's largest youth employment program, connecting NYC youth between the ages of 14 and 24 with career exploration opportunities and paid work experiences each summer.
By participating in structured projects and work-based opportunities, NYC youth are better prepared for careers of the future.

Please see the attached flyer for Information sessions happen in January, April, July, and September. Doors open 30–60 minutes before each session, and each session is limited to 50 people.
