A letter from Mr. Santamaria regarding State Exams Each Spring, students are administered the English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics exams in grades 6-8 and the Science exam in grade 8. These exams are used to measure how well students perform on New York's Next Generation Learming Standards.
