7th & 8th Grade Families,
If your child academically qualified to apply for National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) by earning a 92 or higher each marking period, they received an application letter with their report card at the end of the school year.
Students had the entire summer to complete the required Google Form and submit their proof of service from the 2025-2026 school year. Applications were due to Ms. Corio on Thursday, September 17. Applications are now closed.
Please remember that completing and submitting the application is the responsibility of the student, not the parent. Students applying for NJHS are expected to demonstrate the qualities and high standards associated with membership, including scholarship, leadership, service, character, citizenship, and personal responsibility. Following directions, completing a Google Form, and properly sharing the required information by the deadline are part of that responsibility.
I have personally spoken with any student whose submitted application had an issue. Those students have been given this weekend to correct the specific issue identified with their submission.
Parents will not be contacted regarding incomplete or incorrectly submitted applications. This is intentionally a student-driven process, and students are expected to take ownership of their application and communicate directly with me if necessary.
