A Note From Your Parent Coordinator, Barbara Nuzzolo
When a parent/guardian has a problem or concern, where does one go to resolve it? I plan to serve as a key resource for you throughout the school year to provide you with the assistance and tools you will need to help make your child's school experience a positive and productive one. In the event that you encounter a problem or concern, I will gladly intercede on your behalf. The teachers, guidance counselors, deans, and administrators at I.S. 24 are always willing to help with any concerns you might have regarding your child. Please try your best to follow the proper protocol, or "chain of command" by first speaking to the appropriate person. Generally, if the concern is an instructional one, the first person to contact is the teacher, followed by the Assistant Principal of that grade. Other concerns may be directed to your child's guidance counselor or dean. I will make the concerns of parents and students my first and foremost priority. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you might have at (718) 982-4700 option 1 or email@example.com.
